The Harvard Club of Ottawa has kindly extended the following invite to HCQ members:

 

The Annual General Meeting of the Harvard Club of Ottawa will feature the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston (’63). 

The AGM will take place on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat (the Agha Khan Foundation), 199 Sussex Drive. 

The tentative schedule of the evening is as follows:

5:15​-5:45pm:    ​     AGM

​5:45                       Arrival of Guests not attending AGM​

6:00 to 6:30:          ​Arrival of Governor General ​

                             Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres 
6:30:                     Address from The Governor General, David Johnston (’63) followed by Q & A. 

 

The Governor General's address will include thoughts on the importance of education in an international context.
